Jérémie Amigo is a young artist who questions the engraving technic and the images said ‘miniatures’ which undeniably remind us of the universe of the works of Jérôme Bosch. Some micro-narration takse place within a global scene. Each detail has its importance through scenes which are alternately ironic, poetic, dramatic, if not burlesque. A mix of ancestral symbols and rituals modernised through scenes of a contemporary genre, the drawings of Jérémie Amigo reveal a part of the profound and eternal nature of the humankind. Between present and past, the adaptation of man and his limits in a predefined environment is represented trough drawing.
